Janette started working with Team Rehab as a physical therapy aide in 2010. Inspired by the work of the Physical Therapists, Janette decided to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. She attended Norwalk Community College and graduated in 2014.
Janette further went on to become a Yoga Instructor also in 2014 and has advanced her studies in the LYT Yoga Method, requiring a 500 hour certification. The LYT method, created by a physical therapist, Lara Heimann, promotes a more sustainable movement practice. It emphasizes functional movement patterns, alignment, and intelligent sequencing. This biomechanically sound method is based on the three principles of physiology, kinesiology, and neurology.
Janette's enthusiasm and dedication to her patients as a Physical Therapy Assistant and her clients as a Yoga Instructor make her an invaluable addition to the Team Rehab family of providers.
